Since 1971, Family Student Housing has been home to thousands of UCSC student families. The current complex is slated for demolition, with residents moving to the new East Meadow site beginning in September. We organize this multi-month celebration and public program to 1) mark this transition, 2) to document and share the many ways in which we have made our homes and fostered community, and 3) to uplift the values and practices that we intend to bring to our new homes on the other side of campus.Â
