Food Pantry TablingWe table at the Food Pantry that takes place on the first Wednesday of month. Pop by between 4 and 5 p.m. to say hi, meet neighbors, and get Tenant Association updates.
Monthly TA MeetingsOnce a month, we gather on a weekday morning for coffee and conversation, and to coordinate our programs and advocacy. Bring a mug for coffee or tea, and come ready to split a pastry or two.
Seasonal CelebrationsEvery season/quarter, we come together for community-wide celebrations featuring food, drinks, creative activities, and music. Past events have included a "Holiday Loop Hop," Halloween celebrations, and community potlucks.
We also organize additional events throughout the year, including community dinners, town halls and workshops on topics that affect all residents, and learning opportunities such as a recent training on "ICE prep and Know Your Rights." Other ideas we are exploring include
We create spaces for gathering and getting to know each other as neighbors and families. Kids are always welcome. These spaces include a quarterly resource swap and give-away – e.g. used clothing, diapers, furniture and appliances, toys, books, plants, and more.
